Tigris Temple Shrine Circus 1923

In 1923, Tigris hosted the first annual Tigris Temple Shrine Circus from January 15-20, 1923 at the Syracuse Armory.

An estimated 90,000 people watched the circus. During the circus, audience members were also given several prizes including a $450 General Electric radio set and a 1923 Franklin sedan.
